KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following points outline the general nature and level of work performed by individuals in this role. This list is not exhaustive and may include additional duties as assigned.

  • Deliver prompt, efficient, and friendly service of food and beverages to guests in line with venue standards.
  • Perform necessary tasks to ensure guest satisfaction, including taking and fulfilling food and drink orders while keeping the dining area clean and organized.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, and teas.
  • Ensure food and beverage orders are prepared and served according to established service standards.
  • Handle guest payments in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws.
  • Continuously monitor guest needs to ensure all requests are fulfilled promptly.
  • Foster a collaborative working relationship with the Restaurant Manager, Food Shift Supervisors, Food and Beverage Leaders, and fellow team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist other restaurant staff with maintenance tasks, including side work and opening/closing duties as needed.
  • Maintain a consistent and reliable attendance record.
QUALIFICATIONS:

AGE and GAMING:

Must be 21 years of age or older.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license as required.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

A high school diploma or GED is required.

TESTING:

Must successfully pass a Basic Math Test with a score of 85% or higher, along with any other required assessments for this position.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are essential. Must be Serv-Safe certified or obtain certification within thirty (30) days of employment, and C.A.R.E. (Controlling Alcohol Risks Effectively) certified before commencing work. All candidates must complete the training and achieve a minimum score of 84% on the exam.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members, both individually and in groups.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, using units of American currency.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Essential responsibilities include moderate to heavy physical activity, such as lifting or maneuvering at least forty (40) pounds and standing or walking for 90% of the shift. Responsibilities may also involve working on slippery or wet surfaces, as well as bending, stooping, and stretching during the assigned shift.

The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate, but may increase to loud levels in certain areas. Associates may be exposed to tobacco smoke in designated areas.

Due to the dynamic nature of the hospitality and entertainment industry, associates must be flexible and able to work varying schedules to meet the business needs of the property.
