About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Niagara Bottling. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems using technical drawings and testing equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, modification, and repair of equipment and fixtures.
  • Collaborate with production operators, supervisors, and other maintenance personnel to resolve mechanical issues and improve equipment efficiency.
  • Develop and implement solutions to complex problems affecting production equipment and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in a field or similar maintenance environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in a related field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with high-speed manufacturing, bottling, beverage, packaging, or plastics industries.
  • Knowledge of variable frequency drives, servo drives, and servo motors.
  • Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics for troubleshooting.
