Computer Systems Security Specialist

Job DescriptionThe Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) Naval Reactors Facility (NRF) Security Engineering team is responsible for maintaining the physical security of the NRF site. This includes researching new equipment, creating preventative maintenance procedures, creating work tasks, working on computer systems and networks, supporting design of new facilities and infrastructure, and interpreting DOE manuals and orders as they apply to NRF.
Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field and 9 years of relevant experience;
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field and 7 years of relevant experience;
- Currently or previously Shift Supervisor Part II qualified;
- Qualified SIT and 3 years EOOW qualified in the Nuclear Operations Program;
- Currently or previously CRE qualified;
- 6 years as SRE;
- SRE qualified and 9 years of experience.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering;
- Experience with construction drawings and work follow;
- Experience with Power Engineering;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Familiarity with Department of Energy (DOE) manuals and orders.

$114,400.00 - $178,800.00 annually
Salary information provided is a general guideline only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
