Essential Responsibilities:

The General Manager (GM) will oversee all operational aspects of the site, including:

  • Recruiting, training, and developing staff
  • Ensuring site safety and compliance with regulations
  • Enhancing customer service and driving sales
  • Managing site facilities and maintenance

Reporting Structure:
This position reports directly to the District Manager.


Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and lift up to 25 pounds unassisted.


Key Functions:
  • Lead recruitment and training initiatives for all team members.
  • Maintain compliance with onboarding and training processes.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and development for Assistant General Managers and high-potential staff.
  • Collaborate with People Services on employee relations matters.
  • Work with Market Leader to enhance local sales through community engagement.
  • Monitor and manage payroll processes for accuracy.
  • Ensure adherence to sales scripts and operational procedures.
  • Foster strong customer relationships through exceptional service.
  • Develop weekly schedules and manage labor costs effectively.
  • Address customer concerns promptly and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment is operational.

Qualifications:
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; a Bachelor's Degree in business management or a related field is advantageous.

Experience:
A minimum of three years in a management role is required, with a preference for experience in the hospitality or restaurant sectors. Experience in the car wash or automotive industry is a plus.

Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a talent for prioritizing tasks are essential.
