Customer Service Manager

As a Customer Service Manager at Public Storage, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring that their storage needs are met, and exceeding their expectations. You will work independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside, assessing customer storage needs, and making suggestions to sell packing and moving supplies. Daily storage unit inspections, auditing cash drawers, and making bank deposits are also part of your daily business. You will help keep our customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring that their storage needs are met and exceeded.
- Work independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside, assessing customer storage needs, and making suggestions to sell packing and moving supplies.
- Conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability, ensuring that spaces are ready to rent.
- Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of your daily business.
- Help keep our customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required.
- Ability to transport, lift, and move items weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to walk in/around facilities, spending up to 50% of your time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors.
- Ability to perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds/curb appeal clean and free of debris.
- Experience in customer service centered sales environments, including retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based companies.
- Valid driver's license and ability to utilize your own vehicle to travel between different work locations and/or while conducting other work-related business.
