Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at the Highlands Ranch Clinic. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and clinical support to healthcare providers and patients
  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures, taking vital signs and recording medical history
  • Assist with routine tests and procedures, including EKGs and hearing and vision screens
  • Communicate test results to patients and establish plans of care
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain equipment
  • Administer medications and vaccines as directed by healthcare providers
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or certified Medical Assistant
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Three months of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain accuracy and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • Successful completion of an Accredited National Certification Exam for Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
  • One year of Medical Assistant experience
