Job Title: Medical Assistant

OnPoint Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Burrows Internal Medicine. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and treatments
  • Take vital signs, document patient information, and maintain accurate medical records
  • Prepare patients for exams, obtain medical histories, and verify patient information
  • Perform point-of-care tests and maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Maintain supplies, disinfect treatment rooms, and ensure a clean and organized workspace
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Graduate of an accredited healthcare program (e.g., Medical Assistant, CNA, LPN, EMT, or equivalent work experience)
  • Nationally recognized as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred
  • Strong computer skills and experience with EMR systems
  • 1-3 years of experience in Family or Pediatrics preferred
