Job Title: Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at OnPoint Medical Group. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality medical services.

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting healthcare providers with patient examinations, treatments, and administrative tasks. This includes preparing patients for visits, obtaining medical histories, and documenting vital signs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and treatments
  • Prepare patients for visits by obtaining medical histories and documenting vital signs
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing medical records
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Graduate of an accredited healthcare program, such as Medical Assistant or CNA
  • Current BLS certification
  • Strong computer skills and experience with EMR systems
  • 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in Family or Pediatrics
