Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate trucks and light machinery; transport crews or materials to various work sites.
  • Maintain right-of-ways and roadsides using various equipment such as mowers and tractors.
  • Install and relocate signs, fences, and guardrails as necessary.
  • Apply various surfacing materials for roadway maintenance and repairs.
  • Manage traffic around construction and maintenance sites according to safety protocols.
  • Inspect and maintain assigned equipment and facilities.
  • Respond to snow removal and emergency situations as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license. A Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with air brakes and tanker endorsements is required within 60 days of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience operating heavy machinery, a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement, and basic computer skills.

Additional Information:
Must be able to respond to work emergencies within 45 minutes under normal driving conditions. The role involves working in various weather conditions and requires regular attendance.
