The purpose of this role is to deliver product to customer accounts, ensuring timely and efficient service. As a Delivery Customer Representative, you will be responsible for stocking, rotating, and merchandising product, as well as developing and maintaining good customer relations.
Key Responsibilities- Delivery Operations: Drive a truck to deliver product to customer accounts, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of product, including reconciling routes and submitting required reports.
- Customer Service: Develop and maintain good customer relations, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Inventory Management: Stock, rotate, and merchandise product as needed, ensuring optimal inventory levels and product presentation.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the vehicle to company standards, including cleanliness and regular inspections.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license, including a Class A commercial driver's license for assigned routes and the ability to operate in Interstate commerce.
- Age: Must be 21 years of age.
- Driving Record: A driving record that meets LinPepCo's Policy on Driver Records.
- Certifications: A valid pallet jack certification and knowledge of general merchandising.
- Communication Skills: Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Safety Procedures: Observe and follow all safety procedures, including DOT regulations.
Work generally takes place in a customer account setting, requiring the ability to use a tablet, two-wheel dolly, and pallet jack. LinPepCo is a Pepsi-Cola independent distributor with over 35 years of experience in soft drink and vending product distribution.
