Starting Salary: $18.00/hr for Entry-Level Candidates
Experienced Technicians: Compensation based on experience.
Additional Bonus: Available after one year of service.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Construction Materials Testing Technician on our projects, you will play a crucial role in our operations. You will work with minimal supervision or alongside our skilled team on diverse projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting field observations and sampling of construction materials.
- Testing various materials and documenting results accurately.
- Working with materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel.
While prior experience and certifications (ACI, AWS, ICC, NICET, NRCA, etc.) are preferred, we are committed to providing company-sponsored training to enhance your skills for success in this role.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possession of a reliable vehicle for site visits, a valid driver's license, and a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to meet pre-employment criteria.
- Capacity to lift and/or move up to 60-80 pounds (including soil and concrete samples, nuclear gauges, etc.).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic mathematical skills and proficiency in using measurement tools.
