Danville Community College is seeking a highly qualified English Adjunct to join our faculty team. As an Adjunct Professor of English, you will be responsible for teaching courses in a classroom environment to students with a variety of academic backgrounds and experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and course materials
  • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback
  • Stay current with developments in the field of English and incorporate relevant technologies into your teaching practices
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
  • Participate in departmental and institutional service activities
Requirements
  • Masters degree in English or a closely related field
  • 18 graduate credits in English
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to utilize computer and other technologies for instruction

  • Community College teaching experience
