Key Responsibilities:

As a Construction Materials Testing Technician, you will play a crucial role in our projects, particularly in New Martinsville, WV. You will work both independently and collaboratively with our skilled team on diverse assignments. Your primary duties will include:

  • Conducting field observations and sampling of construction materials.
  • Performing tests on various materials including soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel.
  • Documenting results clearly and accurately.

While prior experience and certifications (such as ACI, AWS, ICC, NICET, NRCA) are preferred, we are committed to providing company-sponsored training to enhance your skills and ensure your success in this position.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a reliable vehicle for site visits, along with a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to meet pre-employment criteria.
  • Capability to lift and/or move materials weighing up to 60-80 pounds.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic mathematical procedures and measurement tools.
