About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team at Skilled Therapy & Play Services, Inc. as a full-time Behavioral Therapist. As a BCBA, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing behavior plans for neurodivergent children, providing direct service delivery to families, and conducting functional behavior assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Behavior Plan Development: Develop and implement behavior plans for neurodivergent children, utilizing evidence-based approaches such as ABA, PRT, NET, and DIR Floortime.
  • Direct Service Delivery: Provide direct service delivery to families, including individual and group therapy sessions, using a play-based and naturalistic approach.
  • Functional Behavior Assessments: Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors and develop effective interventions.
  • Positive Behavior Intervention Plans: Develop and implement positive behavior intervention plans to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
  • Assessment and Intervention: Evaluate client needs and create individual interventions while establishing person-centered goals for behavior modifications.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client progress, including daily notes and progress report updates.
  • Collaboration and Training: Provide training and support to parents, teachers, and other professionals, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and best practices in behavioral therapy.
Requirements
  • BCBA Certification: Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a valid certification.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience working with neurodivergent children and families, preferably in a behavioral therapy setting.
  • Education: Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficient in applied behavior analysis, patient care, and HIPAA regulations; knowledge of medical terminology and electronic data collection and analysis.
