Job Title: Mental Health Therapist

AchieveKids is seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will work with children, adolescents, and their families to provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, as well as psycho-social assessments and goal planning/tracking.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct clinical services, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
  • Provide direct support and consultation services to clients and staff members.
  • Deliver training and education to other team members and clients on assigned topics within scope of practice.
  • Facilitate open communication and a positive attitude toward program function and general Agency goals.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, with valid CA clinical license (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW).
  • Relevant experience providing service to children, adolescents, and their families.
  • Valid California Driver's License and Clean California DMV record required.
  • TB Clearance.
  • DOJ background check clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge in the latest research and practices in mental health treatment, including Trauma-Informed Care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness-based Therapies.
  • Background in mental health and/or educational policies.
