h3Job Summary/h3pThe TGH Urgent Care powered by Fast Track Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for delivering exceptional healthcare services to patients. This role involves performing detailed histories and physical exams, creating evidence-based medical treatment plans, and collaborating with supervising physicians and clinical management teams./ppbKey Responsibilities:/b/pulliProvide episodic care to patients based on current guidelines and standards./liliWork within a defined scope of practice and under the authority of supervising physicians or specific protocols./liliPerform age-appropriate history and physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed./liliPartner with patients to determine, plan, and initiate appropriate treatment, and adjust treatment if necessary./liliSafely prescribe and/or dispense medications, document medical information of patients, and review patients' histories at each visit./liliEvaluate response to treatments and medications, consult, collaborate, and refer with other healthcare providers when appropriate./liliCounsel patients and perform patient education, perform minor procedures within company protocols, and manage pediatric and adult patients for acute and chronic conditions./liliActively maintain knowledge of current medical research and trends, provide administrative support or cross-coverage for reviewing laboratory tests, results, and prescription clarifications when needed./li/ulpbRequirements:/b/pulliCurrent state licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Associate./liliDEA license with no restrictions, current BLS/ACLS/PALS, and certification with the NRCME to perform Department of Transportation exams./liliTwo years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate, or new graduates with significant procedural skills/experience./liliClinical experience in an emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care setting./li/ulpbAbout the Organization:/b/ppTGH Urgent Care powered by Fast Track is a unique clinic that provides compassionate and knowledgeable treatment to patients.
