Job Summary- Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, and document patient responses and outcomes.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to physicians.
- Assist with deliveries, including preparing patients for delivery, monitoring fetal heart rates, and providing post-delivery care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and lab results.
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
