Join Our Team as an HVAC Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Johns Hopkins HealthCare. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, installation, and repair work on HVAC systems, equipment, and components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, equipment, and components
  • Install new HVAC systems and equipment
  • Fabricate and repair sheet metal components related to HVAC and other trades
  • Work under general supervision using the tools and techniques of HVAC technology
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of formal training in the HVAC trade at a vocational or technical school, college, or apprenticeship sponsor organization
  • Knowledge of HVAC theory, techniques, codes, procedures, and materials
  • Knowledge of safety rules, procedures, and practices, including the proper use of safety equipment as defined by OSHA and industry standards
  • Knowledge of sheet metal installation, repairs, and fabrication
  • HVAC Journeyman's License
  • 5 years related work experience
