Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Johns Hopkins Medicine. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, installation, and repair work on HVAC systems, equipment, and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Install and repair HVAC equipment, including ductwork, vents, and thermostats.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Work safely and efficiently, using personal protective equipment and following safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Collaborate with other facilities team members to ensure seamless operation of HVAC systems and equipment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; formal training in HVAC trade preferred.
  • 5 years of related work experience, with a strong background in HVAC maintenance and repair.
  • Knowledge of HVAC theory, codes, and procedures, as well as safety rules and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
