Job Description

As a key member of the Bosch Group Inc team, we are seeking a highly skilled Plant Controlling Manager to lead our Hybrid Plant Controlling team. This role is responsible for monitoring and analyzing plant results, forecasting, planning, and strategic business development related to the product areas within the plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly business reports, compile and analyze key performance indicators of the operation for sales, results, costs, working capital, investments, and personnel.
  • Collaborate with business partners in manufacturing, logistics, planning, warehouse/distribution, engineering, quality, and services to drive business growth.
  • Develop and maintain accurate daily and annual costing of materials.
  • Lead the development of annual cost center plans and forecasts, and analyze variances.
  • Maintain master data and analyze material and plant variances.
  • Perform inventory valuation calculations, analysis, and accruals.
  • Conduct stocktaking, including inventory cycle count monitoring, annual stocktaking of production stock areas, and fixed assets.
  • Develop and implement investment plans and justification.
  • Manage fixed asset project creation and investment analysis tracking, as well as sales/disposals.
  • Perform month-end plant result analyses, accruals, reserves, and account reconciliation.
  • Test and implement new processes and upgrades in SAP.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and provide leadership and expertise.
  • Advise and participate with plant leadership on steering plant KPIs.
Scope Factors
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of financial data and reporting for Business Unit, Regional, and Global Groups.
Complexity
  • High job complexity to understand data and financial impacts.
  • Must learn and understand the business, financial impacts, and data flow.
  • Must learn and understand multiple Bosch SAP systems.
Interaction
  • Daily contact with department personnel. Frequent contact with Plant Leadership, Engineering, Indirect Plant support departments, and NA and Global Bosch CTG. Frequent participation on cross-functional projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in accounting, or equivalent experience in the field required.
  • 5+ years Plant Controlling Experience.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel & SAP.
  • Knowledge and experience in Access and Power BI.
  • Analytical mindset.
  • Communication skills and mindset for working on cross-functional Teams.
