Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing and Maintenance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing overall leadership and direction for plant maintenance teams, focusing on equipment reliability and uptime, facilities/utilities maintenance, and systems support to production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, Implement, and Maintain Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Programs
  • Support Internal Customers in Areas Such as Equipment/Line Audits, Overhauls, and Equipment Conversion
  • Interact with Other Members of the Company, Manufacturing, Corporate Technical Center, and EH&S to Develop Strategies, Resolve Problems, and Implement Solutions
  • Stay Up-to-Date on Technological Changes and Implement Retrofits to Meet Efficiency Standards
  • Manage, Coach, and/or Develop Plant Maintenance Employees
  • Prepare and Administer Department Budgets for Maintenance and Repair of Buildings and Equipment
  • Drive Root Cause Identification and Analysis for Maintenance-Related Failures and Identify Opportunities to Improve
  • Maintain Appropriate Levels of Maintenance Spare Parts Under Inventory Control
  • Arrange for and Manage Third-Party Contractor Support as Needed
  • Work Closely with Operations Management to Ensure Production Efficiencies are Maximized
  • Be an On-Call Contact for High-Priority Issues and Emergencies
  • Facilitate and Support EHS Programs Such as Hazardous Waste Disposal
  • Lead by Example to Instill and Enforce a World-Class Safety and Housekeeping Culture
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • Minimum 7+ Years of Manufacturing Facilities/Equipment-Related Experience
  • Minimum 5+ Years in a Supervisor/Leadership Position
  • Experience in Industrial Hydraulic and Pneumatic Principles and Their Use on Mechanical Systems
  • Experience with Environmental, Health, and Safety Practices and Procedures
  • Knowledge of Industry Codes and Standards, Specifically NFPA
  • Ability to Work Individually and as Part of a Team
  • Strong Analytical, Problem-Solving, Troubleshooting, and Time-Management Skills
  • Excellent Organizational, Interpersonal, and Decision-Making Skills
  • Ability to Interpret Drawings, Technical Manuals, Specifications, and Regulations
  • Excellent Verbal, Written, and Mathematical Skills
  • Ability to Clearly and Effectively Interact with Internal and External Customers
  • Ability to Work with Sufficient Speed, Accuracy, and Attention to Detail
  • Proficient in MS Office Products
Working Conditions
  • Will Be Required to Perform Job Duties Outside of the Typical Office Setting in a Plant Environment
