We are seeking a Principal Knowledge and Content Management Specialist to spearhead our IT Knowledge Management Practice. This pivotal role will concentrate on formulating and executing a robust knowledge management strategy, ensuring the creation and upkeep of IT documentation, and nurturing a culture of ongoing learning and enhancement within the IT division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute IT knowledge management strategies that align with the organization's objectives.
- Establish and document knowledge management workflows and best practices.
- Supervise the creation, organization, and maintenance of knowledge articles, FAQs, and other essential documentation.
- Encourage knowledge sharing and collaboration throughout the IT division.
- Design and deliver training programs on knowledge management processes and tools.
- Select and implement knowledge management tools to ensure seamless integration with existing IT service management systems.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of knowledge management initiatives and implement necessary enhancements.
- Ensure adherence to knowledge management policies and data security regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT service management, with a specialization in knowledge management.
- ITIL v3/v4 certification is preferred; Knowledge-Centered Service (KCS) certification is an advantage.
- Strong comprehension of IT service management frameworks and best practices.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in knowledge management tools and platforms.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow knowledge management is a plus.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
