Purpose

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading the sales organization in the Western region, developing and executing sales strategies that align with corporate objectives and drive regional sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage carrier customer relations at the regional level, fostering strong relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with prospective tenants, leveraging contacts, research, and presentations to drive sales growth.
  • Market existing and projected assets to carriers and other prospective tenants within established regional markets, ensuring a strong sales presence.
  • Initiate and coordinate the collocation application process, obtaining and completing all necessary information and documentation, and ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Collaborate with the Lease Administrator Manager and Sales Managers to complete the collocation process, ensuring timely and within-budget project delivery.
  • Develop and nurture customer relationships, identifying requirements, anticipating and resolving problems, and attending development meetings as needed.
  • Monitor and communicate metrics with tracking tools and reports, providing weekly sales activity updates and forecasts.
  • Initiate and conduct necessary meetings to keep projects on schedule and within budget, with a focus on early problem resolution.
  • Identify and pursue new build opportunities with customers, performing or coordinating initial site acquisition activities, and closing deals.
  • Gather and provide industry and field information to the company and peers, informing pricing, acquisitions, forecasts, and other business activities.
  • Work with Regional Sales Managers to develop a Regional strategic plan, driving sales growth and success.
Requirements
  • Tower/rooftop antenna site leasing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of real estate, property management, zoning, and construction preferred.
  • Experience with contacts in the telecommunications field, with knowledge of the market and customers.
  • Demonstrated mastery of balancing multiple tasks and working across the organization.
  • Disciplined, organized, and thorough individual, effective in an entrepreneurial culture.
