Job Overview

Crown Castle is seeking a highly skilled Network Operations Center Network Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our NOC team, you will be responsible for overseeing the configuration, layout, and maintenance of our entire network infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, validate, and deploy network corrective measures as needed to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Provide network troubleshooting documentation and run books for the department to ensure seamless knowledge transfer.
  • Continuously review all NMS and EMS systems to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance network efficiency.
  • Interface directly with customers to resolve chronic issues and provide timely updates on identified problems.
  • Investigate and supply Technical Return Receipts (TRRs) to customers as requested to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Collaborate with support teams and vendors to resolve complex network problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Organize and lead post-mortem meetings to ensure thorough analysis and closure of issues.
  • Provide weekly ticket review to ensure accuracy and content, and provide deep dive analysis through the NMS system to proactively identify potential network issues.
  • Develop and provide metrics (internal and/or customer-facing) to management on team and network performance to inform strategic decisions.
  • Lead complex change management activities and provide feedback to management on process and procedural improvements.
  • Compile and validate records and reports concerning network operation and maintenance to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Effectively prioritize workload and adapt to changing business needs to ensure optimal results.
  • Lead by example and drive the core values of the company, ensuring a quality customer experience.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of network administration experience in a NOC environment, including monitoring and surveillance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage complex issues and drive action items with customers and internal departments.
  • Ability to promote cross-functional collaboration and teamwork to achieve business objectives.
  • Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision and work independently.
  • Certifications in leading networking hardware/software are a plus, as is experience with IBM Netcool.

Education

Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University in computer science or a related field is required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.
