About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team as an AI Infrastructure Specialist. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cutting-edge network infrastructure to support our AI operations.

Your primary focus will be on delivering secure, ultra-reliable connectivity that meets the uncompromising demands of the future of AI. You will work closely with our IT, software engineering, and data science teams to understand and support their network needs for AI infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Design and Implementation: Design and implement network architectures to support AI infrastructure, including data centers, high-performance computing environments, and distributed systems.
  • Configure and Deploy Network Hardware: Configure and deploy network hardware, such as routers, switches, and firewalls, ensuring compatibility with AI workloads and data requirements.
  • Network Optimization: Optimize network performance to handle high data throughput and low-latency requirements of AI applications.
  • Monitor Network Traffic and Performance: Monitor network traffic and performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and ensuring efficient data flow.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement and manage network security measures to protect AI infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to network security and data protection.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support for network-related issues, including diagnosing and resolving connectivity problems and network failures.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Teams: Collaborate with other engineering teams to address network requirements and challenges associated with AI systems.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain detailed documentation for network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Generate Reports: Generate regular reports on network performance, security incidents, and infrastructure changes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with IT, software engineering, and data science teams to understand and support their network needs for AI infrastructure.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on network requirements and project goals.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest advancements in network technologies and best practices.
  • Recommend New Technologies: Recommend and implement new technologies and processes to improve network efficiency and resilience.
About You
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on designing and managing complex network infrastructures.
  • Desirable Skills: Experience with AI infrastructure or high-performance computing environments is highly desirable.
  • Networking Protocols: Proficiency in networking protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VPNs.
  • Network Management Tools: Experience with network management and monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios).
  • Cloud Networking: Knowledge of cloud networking and services (e.g., AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Network).
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a strong focus on network security and reliability.
  • Innovative Mindset: Innovative mindset with a passion for optimizing network performance for advanced technologies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
