This position is tasked with identifying optimal shipping routes based on customer specifications and overseeing the entire domestic shipping process, including first-mile and last-mile logistics for our expedited services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively seeks and develops new business opportunities by crafting competitive quotes and bids, ensuring efficient operations to attract potential clients.
  • Manages a diverse portfolio of customers, implementing new procedures, quotes, and contract agreements while overseeing routing and special projects.
  • Acts as a customer advocate, resolving issues effectively and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and external partners, including carriers and agents.
  • Determines the most suitable transportation methods, selects carriers, and communicates shipment statuses and special handling requirements.
  • Oversees shipments from initiation to completion, utilizing both internal and external resources as necessary.
  • Maintains and updates standard operating procedures (SOPs) for assigned customers, ensuring all team members are informed of any changes.
  • Communicates domestic transaction details to customers in accordance with established SOPs and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensures compliance with documentation accuracy and completeness, adhering to TSA and quality assurance standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, international business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of logistics operations experience, preferably in freight forwarding.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a proven ability to foster strong working relationships.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
