Key Responsibilities:


Oversee the creation, evaluation, and management of technical documentation for large-scale BESS initiatives, covering both conceptual and detailed designs, specifications, and analytical studies.

Generate comprehensive and precise technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations, and schematics.

Effectively plan, organize, estimate, schedule, coordinate, and monitor work activities alongside other multi-disciplinary project team members.

Ensure design activities comply with relevant codes and standards, policies, and procedures.

Develop Design and Verification Plans and Reports, as well as conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis.

Support business strategy and development initiatives.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as project managers, product engineers, and sales teams, as well as external partners, contractors, and end customers, to guarantee project success.

Assist team members in procuring electrical subcomponents, including inverters, Energy Management Systems (EMS), Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP), safety subsystems, cabling, and more.

Work with team members to prepare design and progress reports for grant-funded projects.

Engage closely with software, electronics, mechanical, and other engineering teams.

Effectively manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, coordinating tasks to achieve project milestones and deliverables.

Identify and resolve issues through root cause analysis with cross-functional teams.

Promote continuous improvement initiatives, recognizing opportunities for enhanced efficiency and innovation.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering is required.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in battery energy storage and battery management systems (BMS).

At least 1 year of experience in power electronics design.

Familiarity with BESS standards and UL codes.

Experience with programming languages, Modbus, and SCADA systems.
