About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Surgery Intermediate Care Unit at Mass General Brigham.

As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients undergoing cardiac surgery, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient's condition, including vital signs, lab results, and medication administration.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts.
  • 1 year telemetry and cardiology experience required.
  • Current cardiac surgery, transplant, and VAD experience required.
  • Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract.
