Cardiac Surgery ICU Nurse Opportunity

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Surgery ICU team in Somerville, Massachusetts.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Cardiac Surgery ICU. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes and experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing cardiac surgery
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs and medical conditions
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements
  • Current registration in Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience in Cardiac Surgery ICU or similar setting preferred
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
