We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team of experts. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of equipment, machinery, and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain cable systems, including Cat5, 5e, Cat6, and 7 voice/data twisted pair cable
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs by troubleshooting cabling system issues
  • Complete required paperwork, including installation checklists, timesheets, service orders, and vehicle inspection reports
  • Build pathways for cable using cable tray, ladder rack, J-hooks, and other materials
  • Troubleshoot and test voice/data cable and other network equipment
  • Communicate with on-site customer contacts in a professional manner
  • Install and troubleshoot intrusion/fire alarm systems
  • Record time and materials used on daily work assignments
  • Perform fiber termination and installations
  • Perform CCTV installation and telecommunications repairs

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in CCTV, cabling, speaker installation, lift experience, and IP camera experience
  • Ability to travel to job sites with some potential overnights
  • Potential for flexible scheduling, including nights or weekends
  • Valid driver's license and ability to lift at least 50 lbs
  • Ability to climb 12 ft ladder and experience with scissor or boom lift
  • Positive attitude and ability to work independently
