Job Overview

As a Production Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for executing assembly tasks and managing the delivery of consoles, ensuring that all operations are conducted efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are readily available for use.
  • Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, fostering a secure working environment by keeping safety gear accessible.
  • Promptly report any incidents or security concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Contribute to ongoing process and product enhancements.
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming deliveries using accounting software, organizing them appropriately.
  • Ensure inventory is clearly labeled and stored in designated areas.
  • Prepare parts according to the Project Bill of Materials (BOM) and communicate any material discrepancies to management.
  • Assemble products in alignment with BOM and approved production specifications.
  • Package orders according to established delivery protocols.
  • Coordinate shipment details with project and operations management.
  • Conduct onsite installations, which may require travel and overnight stays (25 – 50%).
  • Document and photograph the production, fabrication, and installation processes for record-keeping.
  • Analyze data to determine material and labor needs, preparing detailed lists for bid requests.
  • Calculate cost factors and prepare estimates for management purposes, aiding in planning, organization, and scheduling.
  • Engage with clients and vendors to discuss estimates and resolve any issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to secure support for cost estimates.
  • Manage a centralized cost estimating database, ensuring historical data is effectively utilized.
  • Provide recommendations for improving cost estimating procedures to minimize discrepancies.
  • Identify cost trends to support management in cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency in English; Spanish language skills are advantageous.
  • Must obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.
  • Ability to pass drug tests and participate in required random testing programs as per client regulations.
