Overview

The role involves executing assembly tasks and ensuring the delivery of control room consoles through a series of defined responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools are readily available for use.
  • Oversee the upkeep of tools and equipment designated for company operations.
  • Adhere to all relevant OSHA safety regulations, promoting a secure working environment. Ensure safety gear such as glasses and gloves are accessible.
  • Promptly report any incidents or security concerns to the designated supervisor.
  • Encourage and participate in ongoing improvements to processes and products.
  • Receive, assess, and manage incoming deliveries using accounting software, organizing them appropriately.
  • Ensure inventory is clearly marked and stored in designated locations.
  • Retrieve components as per the Project Bill of Materials (BOM) and prepare them for assembly, alerting the supervisor of any material discrepancies.
  • Assemble products according to the BOM and approved production specifications.
  • Package orders in line with delivery protocols.
  • Coordinate shipment details with project and operations management.
  • Conduct on-site installations, which may require travel and overnight stays (25 – 50% of the time).
  • Document and photograph the production, fabrication, and installation processes for archival purposes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in English, with Spanish language skills considered advantageous.
  • Must apply for and obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.
  • Ability to pass drug screenings and participate in random testing programs as mandated by client regulations.
