Overview

The role involves executing assembly tasks and managing the delivery of control room consoles by undertaking the following responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools are readily available for use.
  • Oversee the upkeep of company tools and equipment.
  • Adhere to all relevant OSHA safety regulations to ensure a secure working environment. Ensure safety gear such as glasses and gloves are accessible.
  • Promptly report any incidents or security concerns to the Shop Lead or Operations Manager.
  • Encourage and support ongoing improvements in processes and products.
  • Receive, inspect, and manage deliveries using accounting software, organizing them appropriately.
  • Ensure inventory is clearly labeled and stored in designated areas.
  • Retrieve parts according to the Project Bill of Materials (BOM) and prepare them for assembly, notifying the Shop Lead or Operations Manager of any material discrepancies.
  • Assemble products in line with the BOM and approved production schematics.
  • Package orders following the guidelines of the chosen delivery method.
  • Coordinate shipment details with the Project Manager or Operations Manager.
  • Conduct onsite installations, which may require travel and overnight stays (25 – 50% of the time).
  • Document and photograph the production, fabrication, and installation processes for archival purposes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Proficient in English, with additional language skills in Spanish considered advantageous.
  • Must apply for and obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC card).
  • Ability to pass drug screenings and participate in random testing programs as mandated by client regulations.
