Job Title: Marketing and Public Relations Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Public Relations Specialist to join our team at Paragon Behavioral Health Connections. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive communications strategy that drives referrals, enhances brand consistency, and increases awareness of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Newsletter Management:
    • Assist in the creation, writing, editing, and distribution of a monthly e-newsletter to engage donors, clients, and community partners.
    • Monitor open rates, click-through rates, and other metrics to measure newsletter performance and suggest improvements.
    • Develop targeted content that resonates with specific demographics (e.g., youth, families, healthcare professionals, etc.).
  • Media Relations:
    • Develop and maintain relationships with local and regional media outlets.
    • Write press releases, media pitches, and other relevant materials to generate coverage and increase visibility for the organization's programs and initiatives.
    • Monitor media coverage and maintain an updated media contact database.
  • Social Media Management:
    • Plan, create, and manage content across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and others as deemed appropriate) to raise awareness and engage audiences.
    • Develop a social media strategy that targets specific demographics and drives referrals to our behavioral health services.
    • Monitor analytics and adjust content strategies to improve engagement and follower growth.
  • Website Management:
    • Update and maintain Paragon's website content for accuracy, freshness, and functionality. Optimize website content for SEO to increase visibility and improve user experience.
  • Content Strategy & Development:
    • Collaborate with Paragon's leadership team to brainstorm, research, and create content that aligns with the organization's mission and goals.
    • Ensure consistent messaging across all channels to drive referrals and awareness.
    • Stay up-to-date on behavioral health topics and trends to produce relevant and timely content.
  • Community Outreach & Partnerships:
    • Assist with outreach efforts by identifying and engaging with community organizations, influencers, and stakeholders.
    • Work on referral campaigns that support cross-promotional efforts with partners in the behavioral health sector.
  • Tracking & Reporting:
    • Track, analyze, and report on the performance of digital campaigns, media relations efforts, and other communications initiatives.
    • Use data to optimize communication strategies and improve audience engagement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Basic knowledge of media relations and experience drafting press releases is a plus.
  • Interest or background in mental health, healthcare, or non-profit organizations is highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
