Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician who will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients. This position is essential in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of service and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering patient care under the supervision of nursing staff.
- Perform vital sign checks, blood sugar monitoring, and EKGs as needed.
- Support patients with daily activities and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Completion of a recognized program such as Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, or Patient Care Technician.
- Certification in Basic Health Care Life Support (HCP) within 60 days of employment.
- Preferred experience in phlebotomy and vital sign monitoring.
- At least one year of experience in a hospital setting as a PCT or CNA is strongly preferred.
