Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care and support, including vital sign checks, medication administration, and wound care.
- Assist with patient transfers, admissions, and discharges.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.
- Document patient information and communicate with healthcare team members.
- Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and other clinical procedures as needed.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Completion of a Patient Care Technician program or equivalent medical background experience.
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of hire.
- Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
