Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for providing transportation services to adults with developmental disabilities as assigned. You will conduct daily visual inspections of vehicles and report any damage. Additionally, you will maintain open communication with Linwood managers and schedule vehicle cleaning, maintenance appointments, and have vehicles transported to designated mechanics.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide transportation services to adults as assigned
  • Conduct daily visual inspections and report any vehicle damage
  • Maintain open communication with Linwood managers
  • Schedule vehicle cleaning and maintenance appointments
  • Transport vehicles to designated mechanics
  • Maintain detailed records for all Linwood Center vehicles
  • Assist with planning and assigning transportation routes for the Adult Program
  • Perform vehicle checks twice a week
  • Keep the Vehicle Log organized and up to date in conjunction with the facilities manager
  • Attend weekly meetings with Red Branch Leadership Team
  • Evaluate and maintain gas levels in Red Branch vans
  • Utilize the Enterprise Database for up-to-date vehicle maintenance checks
  • Maintain a daily log of each vehicle and report any maintenance or other issues
  • Use technology to complete specified job duties
  • Leverage Linwood's Data Management System (CIMS) for maintaining accurate records and permitting accurate billing with DDA
  • Adhere to Agency policy and attend work regularly according to the assigned work schedule
  • Participate in all required training, staff meetings, and activities to facilitate professional development
  • Maintain current valid certifications for CMT, CPR/First Aid, and MANDT
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
  • Have knowledge of vehicles
  • Pass the physical and academic portions of the behavior support and intervention training
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office
