Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a dynamic team of programmatic traders while aligning with broader client and agency goals, embodying the player-coach model.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to keep clients competitive in critical areas such as first-party data management, CTV integration, and retail analytics.
  • Analyze margin influences and identify opportunities for increased adoption within your client portfolio.
  • Serve as an internal Subject Matter Expert, sharing insights and best practices with the trading team.
  • Engage in the product development process by providing comprehensive feedback to product managers.
  • Collaborate across various teams, including Technical Support, Solutions Architects, Account Management, Business Development, and Product.
  • Effectively communicate complex topics to senior stakeholders.
  • Lead data-driven discussions using The Trade Desk platform and custom reporting to provide insights and illustrate the impact of advertising on business outcomes.
  • Consult with clients on their campaign objectives and strategies to maximize the value derived from The Trade Desk's platform.
  • Utilize The Trade Desk's user interface proficiently and empower clients to become adept users for optimal campaign planning, execution, and optimization.
  • Work closely with Account Management and Sales Executives to educate clients, expand your business portfolio, and keep buyers informed about our evolving suite of products and solutions.
  • Establish and maintain key relationships with client planning, trading, and analytics teams.
  • Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product managers to address complex technical challenges, including cross-platform frequency analysis and consumer journey visualizations.
  • Troubleshoot advanced technical issues such as performance challenges, measurement discrepancies, and targeting limitations.
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of consultative, client-facing experience in ad tech, digital marketing, finance, or other data-intensive industries, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Prior experience with Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs) is highly recommended, emphasizing campaign optimization and the application of past learnings to future strategies.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration to resolve complex troubleshooting issues and drive significant business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success in building strong client relationships, understanding their goals, and recommending effective strategies based on data insights.
  • Proficient in onboarding and managing a small team, clearly defining roles and responsibilities, holding team members accountable, and providing ongoing feedback.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem, with a solid understanding of the U.S. media landscape, including DSPs, SSPs, ad servers, programmatic execution, verification partners, and data partnerships.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders at the brand and advertiser level.
  • Proven ability to leverage data to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (including Pivot Tables, data set integration, and complex formulas).
  • Strong presentation skills and comfort in presenting to senior stakeholders.
