Job Summary:

The Sales Manager will lead our sales team to achieve business objectives, drive sales growth, and deliver an unparalleled customer experience. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and develop team members, analyze business trends, and implement effective strategies to drive results.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Development:

  • Manage the day-to-day performance of the sales team to achieve business objectives.
  • Lead by example, implement, and uphold Freebird's standards among team members.
  • Network and recruit within the company and the community.
  • Develop and coach team members to achieve their full potential.

Visual Merchandising:

  • Track best sellers and inventory weekly to optimize visual merchandising presentation.
  • Apply visual merchandising techniques to boost sales and enhance gross margin dollars.
  • Stay up-to-date with trends, products, and seasons to inform merchandising decisions.

Customer Experience:

  • Exemplify and create a positive and unique customer experience that exceeds expectations.
  • Train and develop team members to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and drive repeat business.

Operations:

  • Analyze business trends and develop strategies to drive sales growth.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Ensure operational policies and systems are implemented and maintained.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • 2+ years of retail and sales management experience.
  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
