IT Support Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Analyst to join our team at AGC Electronics America. As an IT Analyst, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and guidance to employees on IT-related issues
- Manage and maintain on-premises and cloud IT systems
- Develop and implement computer solutions to enhance business operations
- Record procedures, create documentation, and provide technical training to users
- Use a ticketing system to monitor and respond to end-user support requests
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant on-the-job experience in IT analysis, user support, and system/network administration
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and systems, including both on-premises and cloud environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft and VMware vSphere environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Advanced certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or VMware Certified Professional
- Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
