Pay Rate (Salary): $95,000 - $125,000 per year

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Operations to join our team at Remix Logistics. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and order fulfillment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse efficiency, productivity, and accuracy.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to create a safe working environment for all warehouse staff.
  • Train, motivate, and supervise warehouse staff, including setting performance objectives, providing feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as logistics, procurement, and customer service to ensure seamless operations and timely order fulfillment.
  • Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline processes and improve workflow.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other software tools to track inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and generate reports.
  • Lead company's technology integrations including configuring and managing connections and providers of APIs, EDI, and related systems.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, resolving discrepancies, and optimizing freight costs.
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement and implement corrective actions to address operational inefficiencies.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, and inventory turnover, and take proactive measures to meet or exceed targets.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, including productivity metrics, inventory levels, and operational costs, and present findings to senior management.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of warehousing or related experience.
  • 5+ years of using warehouse management software.
  • Managed teams of 25+ employees.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to move/lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Ability to work independently and in a group setting.
