Job Title: Facilities Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at InZernet Technologies (IZT). The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of our facilities, ensuring a safe and productive working environment for our employees and activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilities Management: Oversee the functionality and safety of our facility, including the physical building structure, mechanical, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and supervise a team of facility service staff.
  • Team Management: Supervise and manage a team of facility service staff, providing guidance and organizing work schedules.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Facilitate regular inspections and maintenance of systems and equipment, monitor fire alarm control panels, and other emergency equipment.
  • Service Management: Manage services such as cleaning, security, and parking to ensure they meet the needs of the business and its employees.
  • Facility Planning: Manage and lead change regarding facility planning, make recommendations on space planning, re-configurations, and facility expansions.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets, ensuring that costs are managed effectively, and significant savings opportunities are identified.
  • Point of Contact: Be the point of contact for staff and service providers for any issues regarding the facility.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in facility management, engineering, business administration, or related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a facility manager or relevant position.
  • Skills: Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices, excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational and leadership skills, knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles, competent in problem-solving, team building, and decision-making, proficiency in MS Office and facility management software.
