Tesla's Infotainment Team: Delivering Innovative In-Vehicle Experiences

We're seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team, responsible for developing and validating firmware for our in-vehicle user experience. As a key member of our Infotainment team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality products to our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Test and validate firmware across various vehicle platforms to ensure seamless user experiences.
  • Troubleshoot Infotainment-related firmware issues, develop reproduction steps, and document test cases and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Execute commands and scripts in Linux terminals to diagnose and gather additional data.
Requirements:
  • Strong QA philosophy and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with issue tracking software (e.g., JIRA).
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow step-by-step instructions precisely.
  • Proficiency in deconstructing and analyzing firmware capabilities from a customer's perspective to identify potential vulnerabilities.
  • Aspiration to develop software skills with the potential to transition into a software-focused role at Tesla.
Compensation and Benefits:

As a full-time Tesla employee, you'll be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive pay, Aetna PPO and HSA plans, family-building benefits, dental and vision plans, and more.

Expected compensation: $24.40 - $65.40/hour, plus cash and stock awards, and benefits.
