Job Responsibilities
  • Program and operate water jet machinery to precision-cut metal components
  • Develop and implement cutting strategies, selecting optimal cutter types and parameters for various materials and designs
  • Create complex 3-5 axis tool paths using CAD/CAM software
  • Design and develop 3D computer models, drawings, and specifications for fabrication of fixturing elements
  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently, adhering to best practices
  • Conduct visual inspections to ensure machined parts meet quality standards
  • Maintain tooling to ensure high-quality output and accuracy
  • Identify and report machine issues, error messages, and malfunctions
  • Collect and upload manufacturing data into our computerized management system
  • Collaborate with process engineers to ensure quality and design objectives are met
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in metal spinning and machining
  • Proficiency with measuring gauges, micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
  • Machine shop experience a plus
