Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Manufacturing Test Engineering team at Tesla. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing robust, automated testing equipment for our power electronics and battery manufacturing lines.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop electrical test equipment, including measurement equipment, power supplies, sensors, and I/O devices.
- Develop test specifications and break down requirements into a detailed execution plan.
- Perform bench testing on electrical components to validate test processes.
- Implement reliable industrial safety systems to safeguard high voltage and mechanical hazards.
- Debug and optimize automated processes to minimize cycle time and maximize uptime.
- Exposure to electrical test equipment, including power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power analyzers.
- Proficiency in reading and building schematics for machines and/or PCBAs.
- Experience with EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar electrical CAD software.
- Degree in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
