Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team at Genus PLC. As a Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and maintaining our high standards of quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and support daily, weekly, and monthly quality control testing, inspections, and procedures using four routine assays.
  • Record and update all documentation and results in a timely fashion for each assay in the appropriate format.
  • Update and maintain the Quality Control record logs and spreadsheets of necessary data.
  • Weekly maintenance of quality control equipment to ensure proper fabrication of IntelliGen product.
  • Report any quality errors or issues related to product information from R&D, production, or results to Quality Supervisor and Quality Assurance.
  • Report results, issues, and bottlenecks to the Quality Supervisor.
  • Comply with established quality, safety, and environmental procedures and policies.
  • Uphold the Genus core values, mission, and vision.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of cellular and molecular biology.
  • Experience in analyzing progressive motility of sperm cells.
  • Experience with plating samples for bacterial analysis.
  • Experience with manufacturing media and reagents to specification.
  • Experience DNA isolation and PCR a plus.
