Position: Manufacturing Engineering Resource Planner - FLRAALocation: Fort Worth, TXDuration: 12 MonthsJob Type: ContractWork Type: OnsiteShift: 1st Shift 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM (M-F)Job Responsibilities:
  • The Resource Planner is tasked with the effective allocation of manufacturing resources, ensuring the creation and maintenance of process planning.
  • Accountable for Bill of Materials (BOM) management, Computer Aided Planning (CAP) routing development, and manufacturing item orders within client business systems.
  • Possess a solid understanding of production and processing operations.
  • Adhere to management strategies and departmental processes while utilizing client business systems.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret various engineering documents, models, BOMs, technical specifications, and quality documents as necessary for assigned tasks.
  • Ensure accurate BOM management and consumption for manufacturing processes.
  • Create and maintain proper documentation for work sequences and CAP routings, including manufacturing item orders for NC Programs, tools, fixtures, and gauges.
  • Provide planning support to manufacturing operations through production order maintenance and tool maintenance requests.
  • Responsible for the creation and upkeep of dimensional charts, manufacturing instructions, material operation diagrams, and ply tables as required.
  • When a Manufacturing Computer Aided Design (MCAD) model is available, the responsibility for creating and maintaining manufacturing instructions does not apply.
  • Possess working knowledge of Loft, Engineering, Tooling, Manufacturing, and Planning processes, with skills in GD&T/Aerospace tolerances.
  • Support producibility assessments as needed.
  • Maintain records and schedules of assigned work, ensuring compliance with company cost control standards, schedules, and quality requirements.
  • Provide technical assistance to procurement and suppliers as directed by management.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Apply extensive knowledge of aircraft manufacturing and be prepared to train and validate Production Engineering work. Required to participate in training and competency testing as mandated by management.
  • Educational Requirements:
  • Two years of college education or two years of experience in the aircraft industry, or completion of a related apprenticeship program.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform essential functions related to GD&T/Aerospace tolerances.
