Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Shift Manager to oversee the manufacture of snack foods at our state-of-the-art facility in Massillon, Ohio. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of high-quality snack foods while meeting budgeted Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the production of snack foods against budgeted KPIs in a continuous improvement-based environment.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop night Shift Operations Supervisors and Team Leads to deliver results in alignment with business objectives and company values.
  • Experience a culture of teamwork and support, and have an immediate impact in your role.
  • Be heard and counted at the table, and have an integral role in creating well-loved products.

Requirements
  • Four-year degree in a related field such as food science, operations management, engineering, or the equivalent in experience.
  • Industrial or Mechanical Engineering background preferred.
  • Three years of experience in production management or supervision, in the food processing industry.
  • Significant experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Effective mechanical aptitude.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage both salaried professionals and hourly production associates in executing complex, operational programs.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule.
