Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Granite State Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, supply chain management, and supplier development.
The estimated annual salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 based on industry standards and market conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Improve the value of our supply chain by managing internal processes and developing performance and capabilities to meet supply needs.
- Coordinate activities involved with procuring goods and services such as raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, and advertising for the organization.
- Review requisitions, select products for purchase, determine method of procurement, and prepare purchase orders.
- Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Two-year certificate from college, technical school, or military training, three years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows based computer program, and ERP/MRP based company-wide sales order administrative systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, vendors, and other stakeholders.
