Job Description

Merrimack Manufacturing is a medical device manufacturer located in the Manchester area. We are a growing start-up company that will play a crucial part in bringing innovative and life-changing products to life.

The HR Admin will work collaboratively with the HR Generalist to provide administrative support for Merrimack Manufacturing. This role requires the ability to multi-task, strong organizational skills and an understanding of the necessity for confidentiality.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping human resources information confidential
  • Responsible for input and maintenance of employee data in HRIS databases, including processing new hires, changes, and terminations.
  • Assists HR Generalist with events and catering
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment process, and with employment contractors, managing and scheduling interviews and creating offer letters
  • Manage background screening process
  • Coordinate onboarding process for new employees, including new hire orientation, processing onboarding paperwork and creating/update employee files
  • Maintains employee personnel files, digital and physical
  • Employment verifications
  • Maintain social media accounts and company website
  • Maintain calendars as needed
  • Other HR and administrative duties as needed
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Associates or Bachelors in HR or administrative field preferred
  • Two years of administrative assistant experience required, exposure to HR department preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to operate general office equipment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  • Experience maintaining confidential information
  • Marketing experience a plus but not required
